How to Choose Your Stiffness

All Konixx wheels are given one of two types of stiffness designations.  The first is the standard "A" rating designation.  The second is our exclusive "+" rating system which is required due to the complexity of our wheels made for tiled surfaces .  Please refer to the information below to help in your decision about picking the Konixx wheel best suited for your given skating style/surface.
For wheels with the standard “a” rating we suggest the following for all weights and skaters:

78a
(Spitfire, e-Flux)
Smooth Concrete, Coated/Painted Concrete, or Wood
Beginner to advanced skaters
Weight up to 230lbs**

82a & 84a
(Triton, Rocket 2x)
Abrasive concrete or asphalt
Beginner to advanced skaters
Weight up to 230lbs**

85a
(Pure-X Street)
Abrasive concrete or asphalt
Beginner to advanced skaters

Weight up to 230lbs**

For Single Pour wheels with the Konixx “+” rating we suggest the following based on body weight, skating style, and surface skated on:

+0 Single Pour
(Rebel, Comet, Pulsar-X)
Tile Surfaces
Beginner to advanced skaters
Weight up to 200lbs.

For Dual Pour* wheels with the Konixx “+” rating we suggest the following based on body weight, skating style, and surface skated on:

+0 Dual Pour
(Pure-X, Pure3)
Tile Surfaces
Beginner Skater up to 180lbs
Intermediate to advanced Skater up to 170lbs

+1 Dual Pour
(Pure-X, Pure3)
Tile Surfaces
Beginner Skater 180 to 195lbs
Intermediate Skater 175 to 190lbs
Advanced Skater 170 to 185lbs

+2 Dual Pour
(Pure-X, Pure3)
